Works great. There's a reason for the loose fit

This HDD caddy is designed to be compatible with both the 9.5mm and the 12mm Ultrabay III drive bays. Any laptop with the slimmer bay (like the Lenovo T410) will have a good fit with this caddy. Laptops with a "normal" height for the bay (like the Lenovo T420) will be a little loose on the top. I've tried this caddy on both types of bays and they work great. Just pop the drive the in and everything just works. I haven't experienced any connectivity issues so I'm giving this device 5 stars.

Inexpensive Storage

Picked one of these up to take advantage of an extra SATA drive I had. Worked like a charm in my T500. Dropped the SATA drive in the slot, plugged it into the UltraBay slot, and it worked. Took about 5 minutes.

Perfect fit for Lenovo T420S

Some reviewers complain that there is a gap/space when installing this product. My guess is that it's a "universal" fit designed for a lot of models. It fits the 'thinner' Lenovo T420s just right.
So far it works great.
