The product is in fact what it says, and is a good product. It is an exact replacement, and is a genuine certified product.
However, I can only attest that I believe it is new, because the vendor opened the package to place their slip inside. I would prefer if the package remained sealed and a window was placed outside the package instead.
However, I am mostly confident that it is a new product, the keys are clean, along with the internals of the keyboard, and no signs of scuffing, or old screws were found.
Works exactly, requires only that you remove the screws that are labeled keyboard, and slide the keyboard up, undo the old cable, plug this new keyboard in. Put in, slide down, redo screws. Simple 4 minute install.

I spilled a cup of coffee on my x201 then some keys stopped working. I'm glad to find this exact replacement on Amazon. The new keyboard works perfectly so far. I hope this company also sells x201 fans, I believe the fan of my x201 will be the next part that stops working.
