Not Lenovo

This is not a Lenovo battery.
Mine was made by Amstron.
I've had it for several weeks, and it seems to work fine, but it is not Lenovo brand as advertised.

Cheap but risky to buy

I ordered and received a genuine Lenovo OEM retail packaged and factory sealed battery by LIQUID POWER CORP. I used just less than 10 times (within 10 recharging cycles) and the battery does not work generating errors and stopped working. And I contacted the seller and they said "Lenovo OEM batteries have a failure rate of next to zero % so it is very rare that your battery does not work." However, if you see the review from Amazon (see link below), 3 out 14 people complained with the same issue. If including myself it will be 4 out of 15. Then how come they say the failure rate is zero %.

They are not willing to take any responsibility but try to convince me it is my fault suspecting I might not follow the initial battery charging routine they suggested and leave the battery in an extreme condition such as hot and cold.
They simply denied my return or replacement request because it is slight over 30 days (it was 40days on the date I contacted them). I could not have enough time to test the battery due to the winter break. How come the battery does not within 10 times usage. I did not notice this much short period of return and I could find the return period after digging their company information.
I never left bad comments on a company or a product but this company reactions to my claim were so stubborn to sell their one more product to me and not helpful at all.

Defect; ignored complaint

I bought this battery because my old 6 cell was only lasting an hour after a full charge. There was some shipping issues with FedEx, but the seller personally called me and worked it out through UPS. In the beginning they were very responsive to my emails and made sure that battery was delivered after some difficulty.
However, after less than a month of use the battery just died with the message: "A battery error has occurred. The battery cannot be charged, Replace the battery." The computer would shut off the moment I disconnected the charging adapter. I emailed them about it and they replied that this was rare and implied that I must not have taken care of the battery and told me that I had to deal with Lenovo myself. All further emails were ignored. I will be contacting Lenovo to see what can be done, but I expected Liquid PC to do more leg work for their customers. Will not be purchasing from them again.
